How We Make Money

CleaningOpsPro earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with some of the software and equipment providers featured in our reviews and guides. When you click a link to a product and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the provider at no additional cost to you.

This affiliate revenue is what allows us to operate as a free, independent publication. It covers the costs of content research, product testing, site hosting, and ongoing maintenance.

What This Means for You

  • You never pay more. Affiliate commissions come from the vendor, not from you. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the vendor's site.
  • We review products without affiliate programs. If a product is relevant to cleaning professionals, we cover it regardless of whether an affiliate relationship exists. When a product has no affiliate program, we note this transparently.
  • Affiliate status does not affect ratings. Our review scores are based on our editorial methodology (detailed on our Editorial Policy page). Products with affiliate programs receive the same honest assessment as those without.

How to Identify Affiliate Links

Articles containing affiliate links include a disclosure statement near the top of the page. Affiliate links function like normal links -- they take you to the product's website. The only difference is that the vendor tracks the referral so we receive a commission if you purchase.

Our Promise

We will never:

  • Recommend a product solely because it offers a higher commission
  • Inflate a rating to benefit an affiliate partner
  • Suppress negative information about an affiliate product
  • Accept payment in exchange for guaranteed positive coverage

If we ever find that an affiliate relationship conflicts with our editorial integrity, we will end the partnership rather than compromise our content.
